Hussein J Khaleel is a holder of Ph.D. in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Politecnico di Torino in Italy in 2011. He received an M.Sc. in Information and Communications Engineering from the University of Karlsruhe in Germany in 2007. He earned a B.Sc. in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the University of Baghdad in Iraq in 2004.

His research interests are in the field of dependable wireless communications and security in scope of the Internet of Things (IoT).
